Right after announcing the tall list of artistes billed for this year’s show at the launch on Tuesday afternoon, the public took to social media to share their thought on the lineup and it is evident that they are not happy just because the ‘Dancehall King’ is not performing.
To the social media commentators who are peeved, Shatta Wale should lead the Ghanaian acts for this year’s event judging from the number of hit songs he released after the last edition of Ghana Meets Naija concert.
Aside from speaking against Shatta’s absence on the list of artistes performing at the 2018 concert, others are also questioning why Empire Entertainment, organisers of the event failed to add the SM4Lyf boss to the Ghanaian artistes performing at the event after rocking the stage for five years continuously.
Artistes for 2018 Ghana Meets naija concert are Stonebwoy, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Patapaa, Fancy Gadam, Yaa Pono, King Promise from Ghana and Wizkid, Mr. Eazi and Mayorkun from Nigeria.
