The 2nd Annual Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards have announced Obomengniibaa Nana Akua, an on-air personality and radio producer, as the overall winner for the Entertainment Personality of the Year (Journalist) category.
According to Ellis Adjei, the founder of the Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards, Obomengniibaa Nana Akua distinguished herself from her colleague Journalists in Entertainment news and production by transforming personal ambitions into goals, as well as using her direct channel of communication, radio to highlight some significant concerns in society during the year under review.
She is the producer of Asaase Café, hosted by Caroline Sampson, and 995 Rush Hour, hosted by Elvis Crystal. She also hosts an entertainment segment called the Juice on Asaase Radio 99.5 in Accra.
The event took place on December 23, 2022, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
