On Friday 14th July 2023 at 8.05pm, we took a safe option by postponing Ghana Party in the Park Festival scheduled for Saturday, 15th July 2023.

This decision wasn’t taken lightly. I was backed, advised and supported by a strong team of experts from: Met Office, Metropolitan Police, Environmental Health team from London Borough of Enfield, London Ambulance Service, Aero Ambulance Services, London Fire Service, Transport for London TfL, London Fire Services, NHS local health authorities, Our Event Management Team & Consultants, Lollipop Group, Our security and Traffic Management company, Right Guard Ltd, Logistics Company, GAP, Local Residents of Trent Park, World of Opportunity, our Vendor Management Team, Desire Promotions and TRIPPs, our production team.

I can assure you we explored every option and monitored the weather conditions.

With the Met Office’s weather warning  ⚠️ alert on Yellow and risks of the forecasted high winds on Saturday 15th July 2023, it was only right to put safety first and made the call to postpone the festival.
