Lydia Forson has stated that Africa’s Movie Industry needs better infrastructure.

The Ghanaian actress complained in an X post following the death of Nigerian actor, Junior Pope, after a boat mishap on the line of duty.

Lydia said there are so many risks involved and they have survived near-death experiences as actors.

She stated that the industry needs and deserves much better than just their passion.

The outspoken actress added that safety measures need to be put in place urgently.

“I’m so triggered by this loss. So many risks we take that we shouldn’t, so many times we’ve survived near-death experiences; all in the bid to entertain & tell stories. Our industries need and deserve better than just our passion. This is why some of us fight so hard for it,” Lydia Forson wrote.
