Lydia Forson has complained about the leadership in Ghana.

The Ghanaian actress bemoaned how leaders in the country have failed when speaking in an interview with Berla Mundi on The Day Show.

While the leaders have failed Ghanaians, Lydia said the citizens have failed themselves in the process.

“Leaders have failed us and we have failed ourselves in the process. Truly, if we were everything we preach, it would be a better place…it is our responsibility but it is also the leaders’ responsibility and we have all failed each other,” she stated.

The vocal actress added that a lot needs to be done to seek accountability from leaders.

“Now we are doing well. We have come a long way…I see a lot of young people trying and it is not easy but then there are also people who say shut up, it is politics…We have a lot more to do. I am amazed at the young people in this country are just fantastic because they are trying,” Lydia Forson said.
