Award-winning musician, Stonebwoy has been heavily criticized and lambasted by many industry players who believe that his claims that the Ghanaian music industry will not have anybody like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and himself in the next forty years is utterly wrong.

This is however not the stands of a Ghanaian evangelist who has been identified as Abraham Amoateng.

According to him, it is only people who are weak in the mind who do not appreciate the positivity of the comment.

He posits that Stonebwoy’s statement is a prophesy he made on his life looking at what he has been through, adding that the statement also highlights how difficult it has been for him to promote Ghana music.

“The comment Stonebwoy made is not just a mere comment, it’s a prophecy he made on his destiny to God that it will take Ghana a long time to get his kind because he has suffered and has been through a lot to build his brand which he is using to promote his nation Internationally but we (Ghanaians) are failing to see him as a national asset…” Evangelist Abraham Amoateng said.
