The search for the next beauty queen for the prestigious Miss Universe Ghana crown is on as organisers have successfully launched the 2018 edition at a beautiful ceremony in Accra.

Speaking at the launch of this year’s edition which happened on Thursday, June 5, Menaye Donkor, boss of Ematz Promotions, organisers of the beauty pageant said registration is opened for all interested ladies from Friday, July 6 to August 3 and can be done on Miss Universe Ghana’s website.  He expressed joy for the continuous support the Ghanaian media and public have given her since she took over the franchise.

She admitted that last year’s was challenging for her team since it was their first time organising such a prestigious program but she is optimistic that the 2018 edition will be easier since they are now experts. As part of new strategies planned to promote this year’s event, Miss Universe Ghana has partnered with Multimedia Group Limited to broadcast all its activities on all their platform – radio, television stations, and online.

The final event for Miss Universe Ghana 2018 slated for September 15 this year according to the organisers and representatives of Multimedia Group who were present at the event launch will be shown live on Joy Prime.

Miss Ruth Quarshie, winner for 2017 Miss Universe Ghana speaking at the launch also thanked the media and Ghanaians for their support during her reign as a queen. She later promised to help her successor to excell better than her at Miss Universe.
