Nana Romeo, the firebrand behind Accra FM’s mid-morning drive show has recounted the struggles he went through early on in his radio journey in the bid to encourage the growing youth not to give up in their quest to be great achievers some day.

According to the radio host cum entertainment critic, he had to write six different applications letter just one radio station before he landed his first ever radio job some many years ago. He added that even after he was employed by the radio station, for six continuous months, the management failed to give him a single pesewa as his salary for the services rendered.

The Class Media employee also told Tima Kumkum when he appeared on her ‘Aben Show’ that the situation got so worse that at some point in time, the eating joints he gave a shout outs to when he came on the radio were the ones who always gave him food to eat.

In the rather sad but hilarious narration, Nana Romeo stated that because he did not want to be denied food, he will first and foremost call the owners of these food joints and tell them to tune in because he was on air. After which he will make sure they get the needed mention on air in order for him to also get food to eat.
