The charitable works of Prophetess Vida Osei Mensah, the founder and leader of Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry have always been talked about by many including top Kumawood actor and ‘son’ Kwaku Manu.

Even though Prophetess Vida Osei Mensah, was at the Anokye Teaching Hospital recently to pay the bills of some patients in the form of charity, her act of giving out clothes and bags of rice to widows who come to her church for the special 31st December watch night service was repeated this year as well in a very humble and better manner.

Maa Vida after all was said and done in terms of worshiping the Messiah for taking care of His people in the year 2018 and helping them to see a new year (2019), then shared bags of rice and clothes to the women who have lost their husband.

The act of charity from the Prophetess is basically her way of putting smiles on the faces of these great women who have been widowed through no fault of theirs.

The leader of the Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry before sharing out her gifts prayed with these women and urged them to also pray for her because the prayer of mothers for their children is one that the Lord appreciate.

Maa Vida as she is popularly called told zionfelix.net after the 31st night that this year’s sharing of clothes, rice, oil, tins of milk and other items to the widows is the 19th time. According to her, she gives them these items every 1st January to give them hope for the days ahead of them in that year.
