Entertainment critic, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has reacted to Criss Waddle’s comment about the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

After the 2022 edition, the Ghanaian musician expressed his happiness about the opportunity Camidoh had to perform.

Even if he was to be given that opportunity some years ago, Waddle said the payment would be meagre.

His comment was after Camidoh introduced Mayorkun and King Promise to perform the ‘Sugarcane’ remix.

Reacting to his comment, Arnold averred that what Criss Waddle does not make sense.

He reiterated that Charterhouse has sought the services of high profile international artistes within the last 23 years.

Arnold added that Criss Waddle should put some respect on the name of Charterhouse and VGMA’s

He wrote: “Nonsense, total BS! Tears of which joy?
The VGMA could not afford a budget to style Camidoh and put King Promise and Mayorkun on the stage some years ago? Ah!

Do you know the number of high profile international artistes that have mounted that stage in the last 23years? Charlie, chide them when necessary but put some damn respect on Charterhouse/VGMA’s name.”
