Highgrade Family boss, Samini has finally broken his silence about how he felt when rapper Sarkodie was announced as the ‘Artiste of The Decade’ at 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to him, even though winning the award would have been very great, he was not hurt when they announced Sarkodie as the winner because he also deserved the award.
Speaking with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s entertainment review show, Samini stressed that he has received many awards and believe others also deserve to be awarded for their hard work.
“I have come a long way and I have experienced awards but I think people should also be given the opportunity to experience awards. I’m okay if am just nominated. I’m not moved emotionally by awards” Samini stated.

The “My Own” hitmaker was in the studios of Hitz FM to talk about the fourth edition of his Saminifest which comes off on 21st December 2019 at Dansoman.
