Ghana’s celebrated musician, Sarkodie, took to his X page to congratulate Stonebwoy for his spectacular performance at Angelique Kidjo’s 40th Anniversary concert held at the iconic Albert Hall in London on Friday, November 17, 2023.

Despite any perceived misunderstandings between them, Sarkodie showed support by retweeting a post made by media personality Olele Salvador, commenting “Flag up” and adding the flag of Ghana.

During the show in question, there was a historic collaboration between Stonebwoy and the legendary Angelique Kidjo, singing their latest collaboration, ‘Manodzi,’ from Stonebwoy’s 5th Dimension album.

The performance resonated with the audience, creating a warm and unforgettable atmosphere in Albert Hall.

The event not only celebrated Kidjo’s remarkable contributions to the global influence of Afro-sounds but also acknowledged her impact on lives worldwide and her role as an inspiration to women in Africa.

The concert marked the commencement of Angelique Kidjo’s year-long world tour, covering continents such as Australia, Asia, Europe, and South America, with a grand finale planned at New York’s prestigious Carnegie Hall in 2024. Sarkodie’s gesture on social media reflects the unity and support within the Ghanaian music industry, showcasing that talent and collaboration can transcend any perceived differences.
