Actress Emelia Brobbey won big at the  8th edition of the 3G awards which took place over the weekend.

The awards saw Emelia Brobbey emerging as the 3G awards publishers choice in showbiz (Best Gallywood Actress) and Best philanthropist winner.

Emelia Brobbey becomes the first Ghanaian actress to receive this award from 3G which happened on Saturday 10th November 2018 in Bronx New York.

The award was presented to her by Mr. and Mrs. Agyekum who flew from Ohio Columbus just to do 3G awards and Emelia the honours.

Other people who received awards include; Hon. Kwabena Duncan (Minister Central Region), Hon.Frederick W. Armah Blay (National chairman of NPP),
Hon. Mrs. Mavis Hawa Koomson (MP for Awutu Senya Breku/ Minister for special development initiatives), D.r Lawrence Tetteh, Captain Smart, Fada Dickson, Delay, Kofi Adoma Wawani.

The event dubbed “A Night of Heroes” recognized the sacrifice and dedication of the leading trailblazers of the greater Ghanaian and Global communities.

Past honorees of the 3G Awards Gala include; The Nation’s Prophet; Apostle Owusu Bempah, Hollywood Actor Abraham Attah; Former New York Senator, Hassel-Smith, Boxing Legend; Michael Spinks, Hon. Kennedy Ohene-Agyapong, MP, Tommy Smythe, ESPN’s Sports Presenter/Analyst; Boxing legend, Azuma Nelson; Dr. Akwasi Appiah; The Black Stars’ Captain, Asamoah Gyan; and many others.
