The Head of Communications of Charterhouse, George Quaye has categorically refuted the potion of Shatta Wale’s press statement which suggested that they communicated to the organization prior to their coming to the event on the night of the recent VGMA that they were going to sit with their fans.

Speaking on the ‘Uncut’ show, George Quaye revealed that if indeed that portion of the statement was even true, then it was an arrangement they did with the ushers who were charged with the duty of arranging people on the day but not as the statement purported to suggest.

The renowned media personality added that if it was really the case that they were made aware that Shatta Wale and his team wanted to sit with his fans, the organization would not have given him (Shatta Wale) four or five platinum tickets which meant that he was going to sit with other top stars at the front of the auditorium.

This revelation from GQ as he is affectionately addressed by many people in the media space will come as another major blow to Shatta Wale and his team, especially when he, together with Stonebwoy, the two people who were at the center of the scuffle which disrupted the 20th anniversary of the VGMA were earlier today handed an indefinite ban from the organizers.
