Ghana’s Shatta Wale has grabbed a nomination at the 2021 MTV Music Video Awards for the feature he got on Beyonce’s ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album.

Beyonce‘s ‘Already’ song featuring Shatta Wale got nominated in the ‘Best Art Directing’ category which means that the multiple award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artist has automatically been nominated as well.

Soon after the nominees were announced, Shatta Wale took to his Twitter timeline to share the news with his fans and celebrated the nomination.

He tweeted; “Thank you this is for Ghana”.

The MTV Video Music Awards (commonly abbreviated as the VMAs) is an award show presented by the cable channel MTV to honor the best in the music video medium.
