Reports on Saturday, March 21, 2020, suggested that Ghana’s Parliament passed into law the Narcotics Control Commission Bill, 2019, thus legalizing the growing of some cannabis for health purposes
The law, per what we have read helps also make the country’s Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) a Commission with enhanced powers to oversee the industrial use of some narcotic substances.
It turns out the news is one the likes of Shatta Wale and Samini have been waiting for all this while, mind you, they have both been campaigning for its legalization for some time now.
In a funny conversation on Twitter, the two top musicians decided to react to this news.
Samini also in a funny reply told Wale that he is rather the Employment Minister so he should not forget him during this merry-making period.
Pah pah pah pah 😂😂😂 my employment minister… it’s been a long struggle… we Dey come float shares to expand the capital base. The jobs dier zanlaaaa 😂😂😂. Imagine the farm top 👨🏾🌾 💨💨💨 https://t.co/eNA4F4NgAX— SAMINI (@samini_dagaati) March 21, 2020
In another reaction, While Shatta Wale thanks the government for finally making it legal for medical purposes, Samini was also happy that finally the rastaman will not be harassed by the police again.
