The much-publicised ShattaFest UK Edition of Ghana Party in the Park 2026, headlined by Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale, has reportedly ended in chaos after authorities allegedly called off the event following an overwhelming turnout at the venue.
Videos that have surfaced online show what appeared to be a lot of disappointed fans gathered outside the venue as police officers moved in to clear the area after announcing that the event had reportedly been cancelled.
One of the widely circulated videos was shared by popular UK-based Ghanaian content creator Sindaco.
In the footage, several police officers are seen directing the crowd to leave the venue and return to their respective homes, explaining that the programme had been cancelled.
The officers were also heard responding to concerns from patrons who demanded refunds after learning that the concert would no longer take place.
According to the video, the officers assured attendees that they should go home and that arrangements would be made for them to receive reimbursement at a later date.
The reported cancellation comes as a huge surprise, considering the excitement that surrounded the event.
Ahead of the show, organizers had announced the ShattaFest UK Edition as part of this year’s Ghana Party in the Park, with Shatta Wale serving as the headline act.
The concert was expected to draw thousands of music lovers from across the United Kingdom and Europe and had been promoted as one of the biggest Ghanaian entertainment events of the summer.
