Controversial Ghanaian street preacher, Sofo Suro Nyame, is one who is known for constantly asking her followers on social media to send him cash gifts when he goes live.
A lot of people have wondered why that is the case, especially, when it is perceived that he makes a lot of money from his various teaching on the street.
In a chat with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show, Sofo Suro Nyame for the first time reacted to all these concerns and explained why he does that.
According to him, he does not take delight in begging online for money, however, he has no option because mostly he is very hungry.
Suro Nyame disclosed that even though he has been preaching on the streets, a lot of the time, the money he gets from the streets as offertory or gifts cannot even cater for the expenses he incurs when he sets up his public address system to preach.
He also added that hunger is real and most of the time, he is very hungry because there is no money to buy food.

Aside these, the other people he has led get salvation and moved away from their old evil ways of getting money have also been calling him and texting him to seek monetary help and it is not easy to help them all.
Sofo Suro Nyame hilariously added that people should allow him to beg in peace because they are the same people who are probably going to say they would have helped him financially if they were aware of his problem should in case he dies because of an ulcer.
