Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artiste, Stonebwoy has questioned why organizers of award schemes in Ghana ripping off artistes and their fans.
In a post on Twitter sighted by zionfelix.net, the ‘Tuff Seed’ composer cannot fathom why fans have to pay so much to vote for their favourite artistes via voting and also pay to witness the award ceremony.
He also quizzed who is benefiting because in addition, the artistes all those so much to promote the award schemes.
Stonebwoy queried: “Why Do Fans Have to Pay To Vote On Top Of Data Already Paid For To Enable Their Favorite Artiste Win An Award and Also Pay To Attend The Awards? And Why Are Artistes Obliged To Use Their Own mileage To Campaign For the Awards On Top. Who Actually Gains Organizers or artistes?”
