Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has revealed how far he wants Ghana music to go.

Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the ‘Most Original’ composer stated it is his dream to see music made in Ghana making waves outside the country.

He stressed that it is prudent for Ghanaian musicians to show the world what they have to offer.

“I want our music to travel beyond the shores of Ghana. Whether we like it or not, we have a lot to offer so far as music is concerned and that is exactly what I intend to do. We need to let the world know what we are made of.

“That is why my team and I are not comfortable when we get one or two wins, we go the extra mile to get things done, do more than we started in order to make that dream a reality,” said Stonebwoy.

He added that it feels great to work with renowned musicians outside the country—but according to him, there are more works to be done.

“It feels great and fulfilling, that your work speaks for itself and you have all these people with you doing great songs together.

“It feels great but it does not mean we should be content with that, it calls for hard work, more dedication, more good things etc.”, Stonebwoy further stated.

In 2015, Stonebwoy was named as the Black Entertainment Television Awards (BET) Awards Best International Act: Africa.

He has bagged multiple awards after he ventured into the Ghanaian music scene.
