Popular Kumawood actor, Quappiah has rekindled the debate on the credibility of Ghana Movie Awards.
He told Zion Felix in a recent interview that the organizers sometimes award people who do not deserve to be awarded.
According to him, the organizers sometimes sell the awards to people who can afford or are willing to pay for the awards.
Quappiah challenged the organizers to swear with any deity if his accusation of them selling the Ghana Movie Awards to winners is not true.
He said selling the awards help the organizers to sustain the award scheme since it is sometimes hard to get sponsors on board.
Quappiah stated that it is in order for industry players to correct the organizers when they are not on the right track.
He added that it is only a fool who doesn’t change his or her mind after a wise counsel has been given to them.
A section of Kumawood actors has bemoaned how the award scheme is being organized.
