![Celebrated Reggae Dancehall artiste, Stonewbwoy has expressed his confidence in winning more Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Songwriter of the Year awards in the future. This assurance comes after his hit track ‘Manodzi’ won him the songwriter of the year award at the recent 25th TGMA. During an interview with TV3’s Berla Mundi on Friday, June 7, 2024, the renowned crooner emphasized that he is one of the best songwriters in the music industry and believes he deserves more recognition for his talent. “I’m happy that finally, eventually more of song writership is going to come to me because I am one of the good songwriters in this place, like factually,” he said. Reflecting on his previous achievements, Stonebwoy commended himself for winning the prestigious Artiste of the Year award twice, in 2015 and in 2019 though it wasn’t announced. He even hinted at the possibility of winning it again in the future, stating that he feels like every five years, he comes back to claim the title. “From 2015 when I won, I came back for it in 2019 and I won it in 2024 who knows [maybe the next five years, I will win],” he added.
