The Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) has issued a warning to Shatta Wale against mocking his colleague musician, Stonebwoy, for his disability.

Following Shatta Wale’s insults and derogatory remarks about Stonebwoy’s absence at an event, the GSPD condemned his actions as irresponsible and potentially harmful to the mental health of the physically disabled community.

In a press statement, the GSPD urged Shatta Wale to apologize and remove offensive videos from social media platforms, emphasizing that disability does not equate to being cursed or punished by God.

Highlighting the legal repercussions, the GSPD referenced Disability Act 715, which prohibits mocking or making derogatory comments about a person’s disability.

The group reminded Shatta Wale that a portion of his fan base comprises individuals with disabilities and urged him to consider their feelings.
