Ohemaa Mercy At Tehillah Experience 2018

Following the overwhelming attendance at Ohemaa Mercy’s 2018 edition of the Tehillah Experience, Ghanaian gospel musician Akesse Brempong has asserted that the venue for the occasion was too small to contain patrons.

Akesse testifying to the love for Ohemaa Mercy and her annual spirit-filled Christian program, he said this year’s program ought to have been held at the Black Stars Square considering the crowd who mobbed the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Spintex branch to worship in harmony Sunday, August 12.

Speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Universe, the ‘God is working’ singer applauded Ohemaa Mercy for her tremendous effort in creating such a platform for Christians to have an encounter with God that is able to bring Accra to a standstill.

He believes that ‘Tehillah Experience’ is a life-transforming event after admitting that he felt the presence of God last Sunday at the ICGC Calvary Temple when several believers gathered to worship God.

The singer in his remarks to Zionfelix indicated that ‘Tehillah Experience” has outgrown auditorium spaces and thus suggests the program be held at the much more spacious venues like the Independence Square or the Accra Sports Stadium in order to accommodate a larger audience.

“Tehillah Experience is a whole new level altogether. When you see the kind of manifestation at the Tehillah Experience it’s so different and you could literally feel God’s presence especially yesterday

Even the blind could witness the presence of God. Tehillah has come to a point where it needs to be held at the Independence Square because the crowd I saw yesterday, even Perez Dome can’t handle. The Stadium or the Square will be okay,’’ he told Zionfelix.

Akesse also urged Churches to support the gospel sector to boost patronage and expand the Kingdom.

He pleaded with some Pastors to tone down on their lavish lifestyles and further called on established churches in Ghana to emulate the likes of Nigerian-based Gospel label, Love World Record, owned by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Head Pastor of Christ Embassy Church.

Ministers of the gospel who joined Ohemaa Mercy for the 5th edition of the annual TehillahExperiencee included Ameican televangelist Juanita Bynum, Ceccey Twum, Moses O.K, Pastor Isaiah, Akesse Brempong, Cwesi Oteng and many others.

Ohemaa Mercy for the first time would sponsor her team to tour Europe and America with her Tehillah Experience, sending it closer to Ghanaians in the diaspora to mark its successive five-year anniversary.
