Despite his defeat at the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primary in the Asante Akyem South Constituency, Bice Osei Kuffour, well known as Obour, has acknowledged the support shown to him by the delegates at the Asante Akyem South constituency.

In a video available to Zionfelix.net, Obour said the incumbent used his experience and tricks to defeat him in the internal contest.

He admitted that the incumbent, Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng who has been to parliament for two terms had a certain experience he doesn’t have and he used that to defeat him.

Being in the contest for the first time, Obour stated that the love that the delegates showed to him was massive.

He disclosed his readiness to rally behind the winner for them to defeat the National Democratic Congress’ candidate in the forthcoming 2020 elections.

The defeated NPP parliamentary hopeful was optimistic, together, they can get about 10,000 votes for President Akufo-Addo.

Obour garnered 296 votes while the incumbent MP, Kwaku Asante Boateng polled 360 in the primary held on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
