The Western Regional capital of Ghana, Takoradi, is gearing up to the launch of a new beauty pageant which is dubbed Queen of Oil City.
The brand new beauty pageant is being organized under the auspices of BlaqEmpire with the theme: “Nurturing today’s woman for a better tomorrow”.
The organizers of the pageant have decided to roll out such a great show to groom ladies to be confident, independent, good public speakers and to undertake at the end of the show, a project aimed at empowering people and giving back to the society.
The Queen of Oil City is set to be launched at the Hillcrest Hotel on the 27th of July 2019 at exactly 6:30 PM. At this much-anticipated launch, all the nine very beautiful and smart ladies who were selected after weeks of auditions will be presented to the general public.

To all the lovers of beauty pageants in the oil city who have constantly bemoaned the absence of a beauty pageant you can proudly call your own, you have one now and as such, you must turn up in your numbers to make sure it is successfully launched.
