Lydia Forson is guessing what necessitated the construction of the National Cathedral.

A lot of Ghanaians have spoken against the decision taken by Nana Akufo-Addo’s government.

While they have made funds available for its construction, Lydia Forson thinks it is propaganda gone bad.

She said in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net that they called it a cathedral to play on the emotions of Christians.

The vocal actress believes Ghanaians would not have criticized it if it were a Heritage centre or museum.

Lydia Forson tweeted: “I’m guessing the #NationalCathedral is just propaganda gone bad. They called it a cathedral to play on Christian emotions hoping to garner more support. I doubt it would have been met with as much resistance if it were a Heritage centre/museum.”
