At dawn on Saturday, January 20, 2024, the studios of No. 1 FM, located at 42 Dade St, Labone, Accra, were sadly razed down by a fierce fire that left the broadcasting stations in ruins.

The fire, which started in the early hours of the morning, quickly consumed the studios, sending plumes of thick smoke billowing into the night sky.

From what we have gathered, the fire was fueled by the highly combustible equipment within the studios.

The Ghana National Fire Service played a crucial role in managing the disaster, with the incident unfolding live on their official Facebook page.

The live updates kept the public informed about the ongoing efforts to combat the fire, showcasing the heroic endeavors of firefighters who risked their lives to contain the blaze.

Currently, the once vibrant studios of Accra FM and No. 1 FM lay in ruins, leaving broadcasters and staff members devastated by the loss of their workplace.
