The retired nurse and midwife, beloved wife of Ghana’s second President of the Fourth Republic, President John Agyekum Kufuor, bid farewell to the world on Sunday, October 1, 2023, merely 24 days before her 89th birthday.

A reliable source close to the Kufuor family confirmed her passing to Asaase News, leaving the nation in a state of deep sorrow. The couple, whose love story had stood the test of time, recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on September 8, 2023.
