Popular TV and radio show host Gloria Akpene Nyarku well known as MzGee has refuted speculations of her being pregnant after nine months of her successful marriage to her colleague Raymond Acquah of Joy News, Zionfelix.net can report.
The two lovebirds of the Multimedia Group Ltd, tied the knot at a secret location in Accra last year, October, 7. The event was beautifully honored by dignitaries in the media, friends, musicians and family members.
The ‘Geespot’ host speaking in a short interview with Zionfelix at the launch of ABUYA corporate wardrobe, denied conceiving a seed in her stomach of which others might think she is expecting her first child.
MzGee disclosed that Ghanaians begin to make rumour whenever one is seen in an out-large dress hence making it uncomfortable for her to wear one sometimes.
‘’Zionfelix I’m not pregnant, leave me alone. Aaahhh asem b3n ni!!! So one cannot wear their dress again” she said
MzGee started as a producer for Campus on Hitz in April 2014 and later became the substantive host of the show by August that year. By February 2015, she was the bench for Hitz FM’s flagship show, Daybreak Hitz and was then put on the entertainment desk as a reporter in May that same year.
Through hard work, she was made the entertainment news presenter on the prime time news with Isreal Laryea.
Additionally, she was given another slot to host a four-hour Saturday morning show, Showing This Week in June 2015.
Recently, MzGee unveiled her new TV show on Joy Prime TV, ‘Gee Spot’ which is a weekly interactive talk show that focuses on the most tropical gender issues to promote gender mainstreaming through entertainment.
MzGee who holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from GIMPA and HND Marketing from Cape Coast Polytechnic is the first of four siblings.
