Veteran Ghanaian Highlife musician, George Darko, is dead.
He reportedly died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
His death was announced by Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
“News reaching us indicates that Nana Ampem Darko, popularly known as George Darko, has passed on,” the host of DayBreak Hitz sadly announced.

The late George Darko was sick for some time before he passed on.
He was the pioneer of Burger Highlife.
