With many rooting for him and mentioning his name when it was time to present the award to the Artiste Of The Year at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Lynx Entertainment signed artiste, KiDi felt he had bagged it.
Well, to his surprise and the shock of many, he failed to win it because gospel musician, Diana Antwi Hamilton walked away with the most coveted prize on the night.

After the disappointment and heartbreak, zionfelix.net has chanced on a video that shows the moment the popular musician who is known in private life as Dennis Nana Dwamena walked out of the auditorium with a broken heart.
Even though KiDi managed to bag four awards including, Afrobeats/Afropop Artist of the Year, EP of the year, Highlife song of the year, and Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year, it appears he wanted to cap it all with the Artiste Of The Year.

However, that was not possible and the ‘Sugar Daddy’ was seen walking very fast out of the auditorium when it was all said and done.
