Baby Sadiq, the CEO of the much-talked-about award scheme, 3 Music Awards has revealed that the rather spectacular performance seen from Black Sherif during the 5th edition of the awards on Saturday, March 27, 2022, was interestingly designed for Sarkodie.

Speaking on Okay FM’s drivetime show with host Abeiku Santana, Baba Sadiq disclosed that when the team put together the concept which saw an artificial rainfall on the stage while the sensational musician, Black Sherif performed on the stage, the one person they quickly settled on to perfectly execute it was the Sarkcess music boss.

He added that they started to negotiate with Sarkodie and his management team just to arrive at a conclusion as to how best they will execute it.

However, after months of the back and forth between the team behind 3 Music Awards and the management of Sarkodie, it because evident that the two times BET award winner will not be able to mount the stage and execute the plan.

His inability to mount the stage according to Baba Sadiq was because the management team of Sarkodie led by Angel made them aware that Sarkodie will not be in Ghana at the time planned for the awards amid many other things.
