In a recent interview on Okay FM, award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Moses OK made a shocking revelation about his tumultuous past, shedding light on a dark chapter of his life when he was involved in petty theft as a young man.

Moses OK, known for his soul-stirring gospel songs and captivating stage presence, disclosed that his life took a drastic turn for the better after he encountered Christ and left behind a life of crime.

He candidly shared details of his past, revealing that, as a young man, he used to steal money from parked cars, a practice he engaged in to add up to the money he was given.

The journey into thievery began during his formative years, when he was living with his grandmother. Separated from his parents, who resided elsewhere, Moses OK relied on a weekly allowance from his parents to sustain himself.

However, the allure of quick cash led him down a dark path. He would target parked vehicles, especially when he noticed people had left their money inside.

It was during one fateful incident that his life took an unexpected turn. He had been entrusted with the responsibility of buying food for some workers employed by his father. Seizing an opportunity to pocket the money instead, he slyly avoided paying the seller. Little did he know that his mother was aware of his misdeeds. She discovered the money and confronted him, insisting that he return it immediately.

According to him, this incident proved to be a pivotal moment in his life. The weight of his guilt, coupled with his mother’s stern admonishment, compelled him to reconsider his actions.

It was then that he decided to turn his life around and embrace the teachings of Christ. His newfound faith became a guiding light, leading him away from a life of crime and into the world of gospel music.
