DJ Slim has for the first time opened up about how he felt on the fateful day he was unexpectedly called to host the Day Break Hitz show on Hitz FM Accra for the very first time as a sit in host for the legendary Andy Dosty.

The controversial DJ in a chat with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show disclosed that the call that he goes to host the show came from none other than his godfather in the industry, Andy Dosty.

According to him, when Andy called, he told him that he wanted him to sit in for him because he was not feeling well.

DJ Slim mentioned that the call came as a huge surprise to him because at the time, he wasn’t an employee of Hitz FM or Multimedia and as a result he was wondering why he was chosen for such an important task.

He went on to add that he got quite scared and anxious with the thought of going to host the show because he considered the magnitude of Hitz FM in the Accra media landscape after he moved to the capital following his decision to resign from his work at ABN’s Radio One in February 2023 and the exceptional talent of Andy Dosty.

DJ Slim mentioned that despite the fear he had,he found solace and encouragement from Andy Dosty, Mr. Haglah, the show’s producer, and DJ Black, a colleague from the industry who is also a work at Multimedia already.

The host of the fast rising ‘In The Booth’ show on YouTube that despite his fear, the show went on, and eventually, it marked the beginning of his role as a Service Provider for Multimedia Group, which means he gets invited to host programs and contribute whenever his expertise is required.

Currently, he rotates on shows on Hitz FM on Day Break Hitz, Joy FM with DJ Black and Adom TV on Adom Showtyme.
