In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show, renowned Disc Jockey and radio presenter, DJ Slim, born Daniel Gyan Kesse, revealed his firm decision never to return to Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) as an employee.

The experienced DJ emphasized that his resolve stemmed from what he described as subpar managerial skills exhibited by certain individuals in key positions within the media network.

DJ Slim clarified that despite his decision, he holds no grudge against the network’s owner, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, whom he commended for his personal conduct during their association.

DJ Slim shared instances of Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s surprising humility, recounting moments when the business mogul would personally reach out to him, inviting him over, a gesture that he mentioned consistently amazed him, given Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s stature in society.

Despite all the positive thinga he said about Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Slim said that the core of his issues with ABN is the form of discontent lay with the management personnel at ABN.

He further recounted frustration over their frequent deviation from directives issued by Dr. Kwaku Oteng, causing discrepancies in the network’s operations.

DJ Slim joined Pure FM in January 2019 subsequent to departing YFM following a five-year tenure.

While at Pure FM, DJ Slim moved to Radio One, another radio station under Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s ownership, seeking respite from the challenges he encountered at Pure FM.

Ultimately, in February 2023, he bid farewell to ABN, choosing to part ways definitively.
