The ongoing public conversation surrounding the marriage of Bishop Daniel Obinim and his wife, Florence Obinim, has taken another turn following comments from Ghanaian fashion icon and celebrity stylist Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman.
Osebo has become one of the public figures who has openly expressed concerns about how Bishop Obinim has been addressing issues concerning his marriage in the public space.
The fashion personality responded after Bishop Obinim raised concerns over his association with Florence Obinim, particularly after a viral TikTok video showed the two interacting and dancing together.
The preacher reportedly described the relationship as something that made him uncomfortable and advised his wife to distance herself from Osebo, including avoiding featuring him in her social media content.
According to reports, Bishop Obinim’s concerns were also linked to a previous allegation where Osebo had accused him of having an affair with his former wife, a situation the pastor suggested influenced his current reaction.
However, Osebo has strongly rejected any suggestion of wrongdoing, insisting that his relationship with Florence Obinim is purely based on friendship and respect.
In a TikTok video sighted, Osebo explained that his personal values and the teachings of his mentor, the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, would never allow him to engage in any inappropriate relationship with a married woman.
“When your wife visits me, don’t be scared about it because it is a curse for me to sleep with a married woman. My mentor, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, did not train me to behave in such a manner. It will never happen,” Osebo stated.
The celebrity stylist dismissed the rumours surrounding his association with Florence, describing them as unfounded and completely against his principles.
Osebo further advised Bishop Obinim to treat his wife with respect and avoid allowing public perceptions and misunderstandings to create unnecessary tension in their marriage.
He praised Florence Obinim as a supportive and loyal wife who has stood by her husband despite controversies and criticisms that have surrounded him over the years.
According to Osebo, Florence’s commitment to defending and supporting her husband is a rare quality that should be appreciated rather than questioned.
“It is hard to find a wife who supports her husband even after infidelity claims. This is a wise lady. She will support and defend her husband in public. That is your wife for you,” he said.
The fashion icon went further to caution Bishop Obinim to value Florence, describing her as an irreplaceable partner and encouraging the couple to resolve any personal issues privately instead of allowing disagreements to deepen.
