Bla Avenue Muzik signed artist, S3FA took the award for the ‘Best Afrobeats Song of the Year’ with her smash-hit single ‘E Choke’ featuring Mr. Drew at the just ended VGMA.

The award and how she took it from the South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Grace Jeanet Mason on the night caused some wild reactions among a section of social media users.

To most of the netizens who commented after S3fa took the award, the manner she supposedly failed to collect her plaque before moving toward the microphone to deliver her speech and how she eventually took the plaque was disrespectful.

After all the backlash online, S3fa finally got to meet HE Grace Jeanet Mason on Wednesday when they both were guests on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show.

S3fa used the opportunity to profusely apologize to HE Grace Jeanet Mason — who stated shockingly that she was not even aware she was disrespected on the night.

Despite the modesty of the South African High Commissioner S3fa explained that it was not intentional and added that she was overjoyed that she had picked up that award.
