Earlier this morning, it came to light that Ghanaian social media sensation, Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly called Akuapem Poloo has been granted bail by an Accra High Court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey.
The Court granted her an ¢80,000 bail with two sureties to be justified.
Also, as part of her bail condition, the mother of one has to report to the case investigator every two weeks.
Following this, a lot of folks online have been reacting and asking questions as to why this was possible even though she just started serving her sentence of 90 days.

Well, zionfelix.net has done some digging and ask people who have legal brains why she was given this bail when she could have still be behind bars till the court finally sat on her appeal.
We have gathered that the decision by the court to grant her bail is what is called suspension of sentence.

Also, Akuapem Poloo sentence has been suspended pending the appeal her lawyers have filed, and that the suspension of the sentence pending an appeal is at the judge’s discretion and in this case, the judge decided to allow her to walk free because she satisfied the four grounds of bail pending appeal.
So in essence, instead of Akuapem Poloo appearing before the court for the appeal from prison, she will be doing so from home.
