Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has explained why he didn’t utter a word about his feature on Beyonce’s upcoming album.

The ‘Gringo’ composer told Sammy Flex in an interview which was monitored by Zionfelix.net on Zylofon FM, that he nearly told his fans about it but he was advised by some members of his team.

According to him, Chris Koney and Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bulldog) were against his decision of making it public—and he listened to them.

Shatta Wale was of the view that many people would have doubt it if he gave a hint about the collabo earlier.

He believes whatever happens in his life is being regulated by God.

“When you believe in God, he will bring so many surprising things in your life,” Shatta Wale stated.

Many Ghanaian celebrities congratulated him after the news about his feature on Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album which will be released on July 19, 2019, went viral.
