A former Mentor contestant, Nii Soul has questioned why Adina was chosen as one of the judges for the 8th edition of the Mentor music reality show.

After the launch of the event and unveiling of judges, Nii sought answers from the organizers on their choice.

He lamented how other former contestants have been ignored by the organizers.

Nii Soul argued that many of the former mentor contestants would have been a perfect fix than settling on Adina as a judge.

He asserted that it will be difficult for former mentor contestants to be used as judges when opposing organizers are coming up with similar projects.

Though he touted Adina’s talent and hard work, Nii believes her role as a judge is a mismatch.

In affirmative, the crowd at the event gave him loud applause for his input.

Adina, Trigmatic, and Bessa Simons were announced as the judges for the eighth edition of TV3’s Mentor—which is expected to come off in November after auditions across the regions have been ended.

According to the organizers, audition forms can be downloaded from 3news.com and can be submitted via mentor8@tv3network.com before 5th October 2019.
