Budding Ghanaian rapper, Andy Agyemang, otherwise known as YPee, has revealed why Medikal is no more his friend after collabo.
After featuring Medikal on his song ‘On My Level’, YPee told ZionFelix on the ‘Uncut Show’ that Medikal declined to perform with him when they were billed to perform at ‘Kumasi Poly’ some years ago.
According to the Kumasi-based rapper, Medikal gave an excuse that he did not rehearse the song so he cannot perform with him.
He recounted how patrons of the event threw bottles at him when he mounted the stage because of delay, as he intended to perform together with Medikal who was the headline artiste.
YPee said it was painful but he has to let it go and move on because it’s part of the game.
He clarified they were not tight friends even when they were recording and playing gigs together.
The ‘Observation’ composer touted Medikal as a good rapper.
However, he couldn’t choose the best rapper among Strongman and Medikal. YPee, after struggling to choose his best rapper concluded that they are both talented and doing well.
