‘This Won’t Break The Industry’ – Ama Burland Reacts To Sarkodie, Stonebwoy Beef

Ghanaian influencer Ama Burland has weighed in on the ongoing social media exchanges between rap heavyweight Sarkodie and dancehall star Stonebwoy, urging the public not to panic over the disagreement between the two award-winning musicians.

Ama Burland’s comments come amid a growing conversation about whether the public back-and-forth between the two artistes could have a negative impact on Ghana’s music industry. Some fans have criticised Sarkodie and Stonebwoy for taking their differences to social media instead of settling the matter privately.

An X user identified as Sherif recently expressed disappointment over the situation, arguing that senior artistes should set an example by putting their differences aside and working things out.

“The industry is in shambles and instead of the OGs to put aside their feelings, try to work things out like OGs, they are here going back and forth on Twitter. Dem go finish and come and preach one love later. We can do better masa,” the user wrote.

Per information sighted by Zionfelix Entertainment News, Ama Burland responded to the criticism by saying Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have “been mature for too long” and should be allowed to express how they genuinely feel.

According to the influencer, disagreements between major artistes are not unusual in the global entertainment industry and should not automatically be interpreted as a threat to Ghanaian music.

She pointed to international music stars including Davido and Wizkid, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, as well as Drake and Kendrick Lamar, whose public disagreements have made headlines without bringing their respective music industries to an end.

“Please, they have both been mature for too long. They are human beings… it’s okay to pour your heart out sometimes. Let them say their feelings. This won’t break the industry wai,” Ama Burland said.

She further suggested that if both musicians had spoken openly about their feelings earlier, the current situation might not have reached this stage.

“And also if both of them had been talking their mind long ago, we wouldn’t be here. Sometimes we have to put maturity aside and free your chest,” she added.

Ama Burland is known as a strong supporter of Sarkodie and has also shown admiration for Stonebwoy’s music over the years.

Her comments come as fans continue to follow the exchanges between the two Ghanaian music giants, with many waiting to see whether the disagreement will escalate or eventually lead to a resolution away from social media.
