Ghanaian sound engineer Roro Buddy took to his Facebook wall on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, to fire back at Ofori Amponsah, labeling him a hypocrite in the unending controversy surrounding the “Hossana” album produced by Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba.

In a scathing post, Roro Buddy didn’t mince words, addressing Ofori Amponsah directly as he refuted Ofori Amponsah’s claim of no communication with Great Ampong, asserting, “You even called me and spoke plenty, begging me to speak to Ampong so he cools down.”

The sound engineer also shed light on how Ofori Amponsah allegedly spoke to him about suffering a similar fate in the hands of Daddy Lumba by stating: “You even shared your own painful experiences with me and how you were cheated.”

Highlighting the intricacies of the “Hossana” album’s creation and launch, Roro Buddy questioned Ofori Amponsah’s knowledge of the behind-the-scenes events, asking, “Do you even know how the whole album launch happened and the money we spent on it?” and warned him to spoke speaking about the whole issues which has died now if he has nothing constructive to say.

It should be noted that this clash between Roro Buddy and Ofori Amponsah stems from remarks made by the latter during an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show.

Ofori Amponsah expressed his views on Great Ampong’s handling of financial issues arising from the “Hossana” album with Daddy Lumba and said that he felt the “Style Bia Bi” hitmaker did not handle the issues well.

Ofori Ampong added that if he had some form of communication with Great Ampong at the time, he would have called to advise him against going the tangent he went.
