Yvonne Nelson, the acclaimed Ghanaian actress and author, has publicly spoken for the first time after the launch of her memoir titled ‘I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON’.

During an exclusive interview with Giovani Caleb on 3FM, Yvonne Nelson opened up about the overwhelming demand for her memoir, which has surpassed all expectations and caused a shortage of available copies.

The interview took place amidst a bustling book signing event held at Silverbird Cinemas.

Yvonne Nelson expressed her gratitude for the tremendous support she has received from her fans and readers.

The response to her memoir has been nothing short of extraordinary, with readers eagerly seeking out copies, resulting in an unforeseen shortage in the availability of her book.

The books are in short supply at the moment, it’s good Ghana is reading and I’m happy about that. I’m happy we are all reading,” she disclosed.

When asked about the potential for adapting her book into a movie, Yvonne Nelson shared that she does not envision herself taking on the role of producer for the project.

“ I don’t think I’ll be the one to produce it but I feel great that people are reading,” she indicated.

While she did not provide specific details, her response suggests that discussions or plans for a movie adaptation may be underway.
