Actress Mercy Little has thrown her unflinching support behind the idea of Zenator Rawlings becoming ex-president John Mahama’s running mate for the upcoming elections.
The NDC hasnt revealed who will hold the torch with JM in the next elections. This has led to lots of speculations and suggestions.
Among people tipped by the masses to be selected as running mates are general secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and Zenator Rawlings. Mercy Little who is a staunch supporter of John Mahama and the NDC believes selecting Zenator will be a great decision to ensure victory.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra fm, the bumtastic actress had more to say about female involement in politics and women empowerment in general.
She said, “the moments of relegating women to the back seat should be aborted. Its time for women to take center stage snd steer affairs adequately. If Liberia could have a female president, then Zenator should be the NDC’s choice”.
