Rising Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has explained his type of music.

The young chap has won the admiration of many music lovers following his emergence in the music scene.

A few days ago, Reggie Rockstone implored Sherif to give a name to his type of music.

The Grandpapa of Hiplife, who was speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM stated that Black Sherif’s style is unique.

According to him, his songs are not Afrobeats or exactly like Hiplife.

He, however, made a clarification on his style of music during an interview with NYDJ on YFM in Kumasi.

The ‘Soja’ singer revealed that his bedrock is Highlife.

Blacko stated that he tries to be in his highlife self, tap into his childhood reggae thing and make sense of the beat.

He emphasized that this generation cares about making sense of one’s song.
