Film Producers Association of Ghana, FIPAG is no more holding demonstration this Thursday, August 31 in Kumasi against telenovelas in Twi as planned, Zionfelix.net can say.

PRO for the association, Mrs Rosaline Osei speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show Monday morning stated that the protest has been rescheduled. Explaining the new move, she disclosed that stakeholders in other regions have shown interest in the fight happening in Kumasi hence their decision to postpone the event to give them (FIPAG) enough time to prepare.

“This issue is on the heart of many moviemakers so most people in other regions have decided to join us for government to know how serious it is. Because of them, we have rescheduled it so that we will have time to bus all of them to Kumasi and give them nice reception when they are here.” Mrs Osei told Zionfelix.

She concluded that new date for the march will be communicated soon.
