The Anglican Church of Ghana has begun an investigation after a priest was seen kissing female students at St. Monica’s College of Education.

In a statement sighted by Zionfelix.net, the leadership of the church said they will deal with the priest following their investigations.

They stated that they are saddened by the news.

The church also revealed the measures they are putting in place to assist the students involved.

“The Church is saddened by the news and wishes to state expressly that, thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest would be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the Church.

“…all efforts are being made to engage the students concerned through counselling sessions to avert any psychological issues that may arise [as] a result of the viral video,” part of the statement read.
