A baby boy in Dormaa Ahenkro has been named after Black Stars captain, Dede Ayew.

This follows an instruction by Dormaahene, Nana Agyemang Badu II.

The decision was to honour Dede Ayew for his exemplary leadership and also for influencing other popular personalities to visit Dormaa Ahenkro.

Happy about the visit, Nana Agyemang Badu II instructed that the first male born the next day at the Dormaa hospital will be named after Andre Ayew.
